On Shooting Products

Did my first product shoot today for a friend which went on pretty well, considering I do not shoot stills much. Was wondering how the heck was I to light the subject but I was duly surprised at how natural light in the late afternoon do wonders. When I was starting to think more about documentary photography when I first discovered it, I did scoffed at most things set up but I guessed I took it too seriously.

Product shoot or any shoots that are set up for that matter is not life and death, and if it does bring in extra dough, why not?
